- 1 cup blackberries without seeds
- 2 peeled bananas
- 1 cup filtered water
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 table spoon sugar
How to choose blackberries?
Blackberries have high water content in them. Because of this, they are highly perishable and if the berries are turning soft, the smoothie will not taste good. Fresh Blackberries grow in the months of March to June in India. If you do not get fresh Blackberries, do not buy the stored ones or the frozen black berries. Buy frozen Black Berry pulp when you do not get fresh Blackberries.
Take your fruit blender and add the black berries, peeled and cut slices of bananas, sugar and a pinch of salt and water.
Start the blender and increase the speed to the highest and keep it on the high speed for 15 to 20 seconds.
Stop the blender and open the lid and add the ice cubes in to the blend. Start the blender again and keep on high speed for 20 seconds.
Serving the Blackberry smoothie
Wine glasses will be nice ones to serve the Blackberry smoothie. Pour the smoothie in the glass and serve chilled.
