Visit CCS NIAM website at http://www.ccsniam.gov.in/. Register for admission online on the prescribed admission form. Mention the CAT registration number during the registration process.
Then take a print of the application form which has been duly filled and sent it with self attested photocopies of documents related to:
- Age proof
- Education qualification
- Experience till date, if any.
- Demand Draft in favour of Director General, NIAM, payable at Jaipur. D.D. of Rs 1000 for general category and Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates.
Last date of application is 31st January, 2017.
I am completing degree in July-August 2017
Candidates completing their degree programme in July-August 2017 can also apply for the PG degree course. The only condition is you must submit your provisional degree certificate and aggregate marks OGPA latest by 31 August 2017.
The weightage criteria for final selection is as follows:
- CAT 2016 – 50%
- Personal interview – 20%
- Essay writing – 15%
- Group discussion – 10%
- Work experience – 5%
One should have a:
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Allied Sciences/Veterinary Science from any Agriculture University or institute as recognized by ICAR.
Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent qualification in any other subject like:
- Social Science
- Pure Science
This qualification should have been awarded by a recognized or registered University under the University Grants Commission (UGC). Also, the degree/equivalent qualification should entail a minimum of 3 years of education after completing Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent.
- Obtained a second Division or equivalent OGPA as per concerned University rules, along with CAT-2016 score.
